So Microsoft launched a new font the other day. It contains nice ligatures, looks a lot like Fira Code and it’s open source - what’s not to like?

Well, I don’t like tofu in my fonts. The missing characters above (rendered as these empty boxes, aka, tofu) are å, ä and ö, which normally is covered by basically any modern font out there…except for this new, fancy font.

I think I’ll use something else. Like, anything else really.
